You call that School Holiday ?

I came across this Page when I was on Yahoo! Singapore not too long ago.

My Question in mind is..

" Is it only now that the Singaporean and Government know about this!? "

Seriously. I believe that every student is complaining about having Loads of Homework to be done during the school holiday. What do you actually call a School Holiday? If teacher is going to be that unfair, issuing so much of homework, I doubt students will call this a 'Holiday'!

What is a Holiday ? Holiday is a period of time spent for enjoyment.

See. How would the student enjoy their holidays with Homeworks? Vacations are cancelled or Homework brought along with them during their holiday. Seriously. Have teachers actually consider the feelings of the students when they actually assigned homeworks to them ? How many subject the student actually have? A little homework (as claimed by most if the teacher) given by each teacher for EACH SUBJECT! How could the overall homework be alittle. Damn it. Not only this, teacher also end up saying this..

" If You don't want to hand up, it's fine with me. I have lesser work to be marked. "

" If you think these homework is so much for You. What about us, marking Hundreds of Paper? "

It's true though. But, If You, teacher give us lesser homework, won't you have lesser paper to mark. Save the Paper, Save the Tree?

Is Government trying to step into the Education system and do something about it? Yes. (as claim). So Government. DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! No BULLSHITTING! Make the “balanced approach” a successful one !
