" Realistic "

I had a chat with my younger brother last night about DREAMS. Therefore, I am now inspired to write this post to share with You.

Dream VS 'Realistic' Dream

" Realistic "

According to the dictionary, realistic means - Real or Practical

Everyone dreams. Be it day-dreaming or dreaming in your sleep. It can also be your 'Dream' (goal).

But NOW, I am talking about Dream as in your Goal.

Everyone has a Dream. I dream to be a Chef in the future. People dream to be a teacher, fireman or more. But, the problem is, is your Dream REALISTIC, is it practical?

Giving you an example of my Brother.

My brother is a Primary 6 repeat student. Obviously his study is BAD. He said he wanted to score A for his PSLE this year. Can he do it? Sure do. But he is going to work SUPER hard. But, is it Realistic? No. Base on his result. he is just at the border line. You see the differences?

Dream can be fulfill. But. People always set High Dreams and it became so UNREALISTIC. Common dream by everyone - " I want to be a RICH man! ". Can it be fulfilled? Yes, sure do. But again, is it Realistic? No. You got to work super hard and first of all, what is your Job and the economic situation?

It is always important to set a REALISTIC dream for yourself. It's never wrong to set a dream for yourself. A Dream set as a Goal for Life. A Dream may not be reached at the end of the day.

Now, I will share my thought for Dream. A dream is a Goal for Life, as I said. A dream is also a 'Summary' for what I wanted to do.

Example,

I wanted to be a Chef. Now, what do Chef do ? Chef cooks, he teach, Chef plays with Food, and prepare food. Currently, I am working towards my dream as a Chef. But, I may come across a day when I decided to be a Mentor in a Culinary school or a F&N teacher. Doesn't a Mentor in Culinary School and F&N cook, teach, prepare food for lesson and plays with food? See. You get a picture of what I actually mean ?

Don't understand?

Let's say that You dream to be a Fireman. Fireman save Life, Kill Fire. But, one day you are requested to worked in the Fire Extinguisher Company, creating Fire Extinguisher. Doesn't fire extinguisher Kills Fire and Save Life by putting out fire?

* You should understand now. If you don't, read till you understand! *

A Dream may not be your FINAL target. But a " Summary" of your Target.

Whatever it is. My conclusion is,

" Set a REALISTIC Dream for yourself! "
