next step.

yes. yes. I know. I've been talking about the same topic again and again. C'mon I can't just left my goal hanging in the middle of no where. I've got to finish planning my goals!

my goal (my plans after SHATEC) were set. Now I've got to move on to choosing my new institute and of course, to work hard towards it.

two institute that I've research on.

1. Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) - Bachelor of Professional Studies in Culinary Arts Management

advantages -
  • wider lesson content
  • more learning opportunities available.
  • This institute seems to be working with The Culinary Institute of America.

disadvantages -
  • this institute does not seems to be accepting SHATEC diploma certificates.
  • more subject, more stress.

2. Singapore Institute of Management (SIM) - Higher Diploma in European Culinary Management

advantages -
  • seems to have lesser stress - lesser subjects.
  • 6 months of studies in institutes; 6 months oversea for futher studies and internships.
  • focusing mainly on European Cuisine and Culinary skills. ( I can't differciate the difference.)

disadvantages -

  • $12,000++ tuition fee.
  • had to learn either French or German before going overseas.

that's the only two institutes I had researched so far. Generalised summary on the pros and cons. Liwei (my competitor in current SHATEC) and I would be going down to SIT for its open house this Saturday and hopefully I can receive good news from them - that SHATEC certificates are accepted. Meanwhile I'll try to research on more Institutes and courses available and to approach my mentors with regards to this.

Before I could meet my goals - I have to pull through my internship. May God bless and guide me.

p/s: " leave me a comment if you have any recommendations."
