Interview - Tomorrow!
Interview is tomorrow! Gracious. Not physically prepared, let alone mentally prepared. What must I put in for my Portfolio?Alright! Calm down. I've place my O level Result slip, Form A, SHATEC competition Certificate, Bali Culinary course certificate and SHATEC course certificate. I am worried that they may ask me what I have learnt in that bloody course I have attended. I think I shall do a RRR here !
Bali Course. I've learnt:
- Their Seafood, beef and chicken Sate (satay)
- Their Sweet Sauce Chicken
- Their Yellow Rice
- Javanese Peanut Sauce
- Roast Banana Leaf Chicken
- Yellow Rice
The difference between the cooking culture in Singapore and Bali -
- No fridge in Bali, all ingredients are bought FRESH!
- Chickens are bought alive. Either to be rear or to be slaughter on the day of purchase.
- Spices are similar in both countries - Tumeric, Belachan, Chilli, Black Pepper, etc.
- Bali dishes are mainly spicy or sweet.
- All food are cook in a TRADITION ways and it takes 'years'
SHATEC course I've learnt:
- Tom Yam soup
- Fried Maggie
- Stuffed Squid
- Grandma's Bread Pudding
- Pan-sear Chicken
thats all I thinks.
Hope they would not be asking me Questions like this. I don't know how to answer! In short, I think I would be dumbfold during Interview! Nervous! I never know that interview is SO HARD and STRESSFUL !
alright. 2 predicted Question!
- Why do you choose this course?
